REMINDERS:

1  . Our last day of library will be Tuesday May 22nd, please collect and return all books before or on that day!  Thank you!!

2.We were one of the classes that won the challenge for Sports-a-thon by bringing in over $100 per child in our classroom and therefore we get to celebrate by playing a game with Mrs. Stayton on Thursday May 24th at the end of our school day.  It is supposed to be warm that day so please have your child dress appropriately to play outdoors.  Thank you so much!   

3. We have PE (gym class) on Tuesdays and Fridays.  Library is on Tuesdays, please make sure your son or daughter has their library books to return :o).  Thank you!

Homework is seldom given in the computer classes.  Work is to be done in class. If a student gets behind because of an absence or other situation, they need to find a way to complete the project.  That could mean taking the work home on a flashdrive and working at home or staying after school and work in the lab to complete the project.

 5th and 6th grade Christmas concert Thursday Dec 8, 2011.  Concert is at 7:00pm. At 2nd Christian Reformed Church.  Students need to be there at 6:00pm.  Wear nice Christmas Church clothes.

All band High School band students please remember to fill out and turn in your practice logs.  And remember to practice! 


We are creating a band that brings honor, glory and praise the One who has given us music.  So lets bring God our VERY BEST.

I praise God everyday for the privilege to teach all my students. I want to introduce you all to the God who loves us and wants us to praise and worship Him with all that is within us.  Music is our tool.

Such as...Global Reading Challenge Our "Winning Six" did advance to the Branch Challenge at the Oshtemo branch of the Kalamazoo Public Library. They tied for first place! A sudden death elimination round gave the final win to another team...But H.C.A. gave an excellent challenge.  

PLUS Speeches for Speech Meet (3/16/12)    Congratulations to: Austin Strahan, Bible Memory; Dade Thomas, Poetry. Both earned Superrior ratings!

Congratulations to our Math Olympians Alex Boyd, Austin Strahan, Anabella Sroka, and Julia Rudlaff. They acheived two first place positions, one fourth place and a fifth place position. YEA TEAM!

As we are winding down the year, please note that FINAL EXAMS are fast approaching; it would be wise to start reviewing lit terms, etc. for the exams.  ALL classes will have the following on their exams:
