Brian was the Class of 2003 Co-Valedictorian, a Recipient of WMU's prestigious Medallion Scholarship, and a student in WMU's College of Engineering.

"The Bible and Christianity were really at the core of everything done at this school ... It was a really unique learning environment. When you don't have to worry about all the stuff that a lot of kids have to worry about, it really frees up your mind to apply yourself to the learning, which is really the purpose of school.

Dr. Nichols graduated from Heritage Christian Academy and used the training that she received there to help in her future endeavors.

She later received her B.S. degree in Natural Science and Biology from Cedarville University. She then received her M.D. from Michigan State University College of Human Medicine. She finished her post-graduate residency training from Michigan State University Kalamazoo Center for Medical Studies in Pediatrics. She is currently working in Elmira, New York as a Pediatrician with Southern Tier Pediatrics.
